If you want to be successful in life and your business, you have to show up.
What is showing up?
Showing up means that no matter what you do in life, you’ll do it with purpose, the right attitude, and perseverance and make sure you’re giving 100% of your best to whatever you are doing.
It means that whether it’s business, a relationship or something else, you have to be 100% focused on making sure you’re doing everything within your power to obtain the outcome you desire.
It means doing what you say you’ll do and keeping the promises you made to others and yourself.
Showing up means doing the right thing when it would be easier not to. It means being determined even when you don’t want to do the hard things, because you know they’re going to be challenging but worth it.
It means refusing to do anything but your best when it comes to something that has meaning and purpose to you.
It is not succumbing to human nature of wanting to do the easy things and postponing the hard things for later; a later time that may never come.
Many people go to work and through life every day with the sole intention of doing just enough to get by and fulfill just the minimum requirements needed to be done.
These are the people who complain that life isn’t fair and they have been dealt a bad hand. They will never admit that life and the Universe has given them exactly what they deserve: Life is giving them the minimal results for the minimum effort they give.
There is a difference between being there just because you have to and showing up with the attitude that no matter what situation you’re in, you’ll give your everything to make the most out of it.
You have a choice: you can go through life giving the minimum effort needed and just be at places you need to be at, or you can show up at those same places with the right attitude, commitment, and persistence to do your best and succeed in everything you choose to do.
Life and the Universe will give you back and reward you for what you give to it. If you want to have a happy and fulfilled life, and be successful in the things you choose to do, then you must show up.
Every person can make the choice of just doing the minimum needed to get by, or showing up and be the best they can be at that moment.
Once you make the commitment to start showing up every time, it becomes part of who you are and turns into a habit that produces better results in everything you do.
What do you want to do with your life? Do you want to just get by, or do you want to show up?
Make a promise to yourself and show up with your best every time.
